The Salvation of Christ Awaits You

12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

In no one else. Only by the unique and wondrous name of Christ Jesus can one find salvation. His name stands alone, unmatched and unparalleled. A name that even demons and Satan tremble at. Jesus is the gospel. He is “the good news.” When our faith is directed at him, in him, Jesus saves us. It is a miracle that Christ can take someone who is so depraved and makes a saint on earth out of them. In no other way is this possible.

Paul wrote in Titus, 5 “he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” There is only one true Christian religion, and it is based on the idea that one cannot work their way into heaven. Other so-called Christians believe that their works count towards the entrance into heaven. If this were the case, Jesus would not have had to die. Paul said it best in Romans 3:23 “None are good.”  Man cannot earn salvation; it can only be found through Jesus Christ, “for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

We have assurances of our salvation through Christ. It is because God sent Jesus as a propitiation that the wrath of God would be satisfied for all believers (John 3:16, Rom 3:25). Without Christ, all sinners who have not accepted Jesus will perish. This is written throughout the New Testament.  This is why giving your life to Christ is so urgent.

Christ knows you even if you have not met him yet. He knows every single hair on your head, and Christ awaits you. In 2 Corinthians 6:2, Paul reminds us,” For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” This promise of salvation through Christ is a beacon of hope, a reassurance that no matter how lost we may feel, Christ is there, waiting for us.

Call on Christ out loud! Ask Him to take over your life, guiding you through the narrow gate. According to Paul, confess:

9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”

Once saved, always saved. Rest in the assurances of Christ. We will not be cast out when we stumble and fall in sin. Repent your sins to your Savior, and do not worry; in salvation, you are an adopted child of God and will forever share in the inheritance of the Lord.

God be with you!
