O' Lord

Merciful Father,

Our lives are so cluttered and hectic that I fervently pray for the precious gifts of patience and understanding. I pray that when our impatience and frustration attempt to smother us, you will grant us the grace to overcome. Lord, I pray the Holy Spirit would soften our selfishness and help us grow a more robust understanding of the troubles of others, recognize their struggles, and respond with mercy. Grant us the ability to embrace the holiness of patience and understanding as we travel through the labyrinth of life. Father, I pray for these qualities rooted in your divine being.
