God's Grace

Father God,

With the myriads of things before us, let us not forget you. For you Lord, are everything. Without you we are nothing. In our low times, Lord, you lift us up. In our high times, you temper our rejoicing to keep us humble. Let us not forget you, Lord. And when we do, we ask for your forgiveness because our distraction is not out of malice, but of weariness, not out of anger but of solemness, not out of rejection, but of sadness.

Lift us up today, Lord, all who are struggling, weeping, tired, and in pain. Continue to lift up those who are blessed today and let them not forget that today's blessings are by your hand.
