An Abomination Before God

"We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one." (1 John 5:19 ESV)
On the 15th of this month, a funeral took place at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York. The funeral was for a trans-activist and atheist. After the welcoming prayer, someone took to the pulpit for the eulogy. This person then proclaimed the deceased to be “Sister Cecilia, the Mother of all whores.” The attendees began dancing in the aisles dressed in degrading clothing. Prayer cards were distributed calling the deceased “Blessed,” “Mother,” and “Transvestite whore.”
The Catholic church stated they were deceived and were only told by family and friends that it was a funeral for a Catholic believer. This occurred at the beginning of Lent. Putting aside the non-biblical beliefs of the Catholic Church, this is madness. This truly shows the control Satan has over our society. These people desecrated a church, blasphemed God, and made a mockery of a religious ceremony, whether I agree with the doctrine or not. My friends, the sheer disregard and rebellion against God is staggering. The prince of the power of the air continues to tighten his grip on the world. But our God is sovereign.
At my ministry I had a person ask me a question. They said Brother Joe, Satan has to know he is going to lose, right? I mean, he must know; he knows scripture. Why is he doing this? Why doesn't he give up? My answer was that he wanted to take as many people with him into the lake of fire as he could, that’s why.
Look around you. We are in end times and have been since the resurrection. Yet God is sovereign, and we, too, know the outcome. Do not worry; you are a saint on earth. You are an adopted child of God. Serve and love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind. Repent your sins and ask for forgiveness from the God you love and worship.
These people that continue to carry out these blasphemies are twisted and evil, they are not of the Lord but of Satan. May God have mercy on their souls. I think I will go get sick now.
