A Worship Prayer

Father,

I ask that you open the hearts and minds of your children so that we may understand your word. Reveal to us your power and glory, hidden within the ancient texts. I ask this, Lord, so that we may be able to worship You as You have instructed us. Grant us Your mercy, Lord, that we may be made whole in You. It is on Your day, Lord, that we continue to outwardly express our love, joy, and satisfaction in You so that you may be glorified as you deserve.
