A Healing Prayer
Almighty God,
As a Christian community, we humbly come before You in prayer, seeking strength and recovery for those who suffer from illnesses. We acknowledge that it is your strength, not ours, that helps us overcome the challenges of disease and illness. We trust in the mercy of Your power to heal and restore.
Lord, we ask You to fill those who suffer with Your presence and grant them strength to endure the ravages of sickness. Strengthen them so their faith will give them the peace to trust in Your plan, knowing that it is for their ultimate good. We trust in Your divine plan, Father, and we ask You to touch them with your healing hands, both physically and emotionally, and help them surrender their burdens to You. May they trust that You will guide them through their recovery.
Father, we especially pray for the children we know suffer as we pray. Give them peace and heal them, Lord. Strengthen their parents and caretakers so that they may give their strength to their children. Surround them with Your love and support, lifting them up when they are weak and anxious, comforting them when they are in pain.
Thank you, Lord, for assuring them they are not alone on this journey. Strengthen them, O Holy Spirit, and restore every area of their lives.

Lord, Jesus, here I am again, asking You to do what only You can do in my life. Scripture tells me that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are the God who performs miracles! So do a miracle in me! Heal me through and through! Deliver me from my tendency toward anxiety and worry. Show me how You fight for me. Give me a vision for what a healthy-healed-me looks like, and help me to fulfill your workmanship. Take my efforts and multiply them, Lord. My soul waits for You to do what only You can do. I love You, Lord.
