Pray

“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation." (Luke 1:46-50")

Lord God,

As we are awakened this morning, we are filled with a profound sense of awe at the vastness of your creation. The depth of your love, O Lord, is a reminder that your power is beyond compare. All that we have and all that we receive are yours, and we are deeply grateful for your many blessings. We stand in awe of your infinite goodness, which shines through despite our infinite weakness. Dear Lord, we offer our worship with all our hearts and adore you with all our souls.

Father, we think of Mary, who bore you that your incarnation would bring salvation to those of faith, and her song inspires us in praise. We hope your blessings bestowed upon us will be seen by others and that the things you have done for us will witness your glory. We pray that we will be called blessed, so that our satisfaction in you will glorify you even higher. We give you thanks for your unfailing love and mercy. Lord, we ask that you continue to guide us and lead us along the path of righteousness so that we may become more sanctified in your service.

In the Blessed name of Christ Jesus, we pray, Amen.
